Sierra Valley, California
Honey from the Sierra Valley — the Plumas and Sierra country. High valley bloom, a different year than the coast.
From the family
These are the things we actually offer: honey from two California regions, starter colonies (nucs), queens we raise here — Italian and Carniolan — and swarm removal as a service call.
This is not a store and not a price list. What we have changes with the season. Write through the contact page and we will tell you what is on hand.
The same family bees, two different landscapes. Forage changes the flavor, so we keep the jars honest about where they came from.
We have not named floral varieties or vintage years here. The story is the place: Sierra Valley in the mountains, and the Santa Cruz coast.

Honey from the coastal side of Santa Cruz County. Ocean air, different flowers, a jar that tastes like that place.
We sell nucs: small starter colonies for people who keep bees or want to start. They are living bees, so we do not put a count on a website. If you need a nuc, ask — we will say whether we have one and when it can go home with you.
We raise queens locally, in two kinds people ask for: Italian and Carniolan. Same family outfit — not a catalog of every race of bee.
Local Italian queens when we have them.
Local Carniolan queens when we have them.
If a swarm of bees has landed on your place, we can come collect it when we are able. This is a service call, not something sitting on a shelf.
We do not list a rate or a map of where we will go. Write through the contact page and we will tell you whether we can come, and when.
Use the contact page. We will say what we have and whether we can come for a swarm. A real inbox still needs to be wired when the Formspree (or other) form is ready.
